Booked this property specifically for the location and beach access across the street, but after arriving at the hotel, and paying for parking, we were told our room was at a "sister property" 0.7 miles away and that we’d have to drive to it. 0.7 miles in Miami Beach is a totally different neighborhood. That completely changes the stay: location is everything, and the sister property is not convenient access to the beach, we had to return to the parking by the actual location and fight for parking to enjoy the beach the next day. No advance notice, and it felt like a bait-and-switch. Would not stay again.

The room had clearly been flooded at some point & smelled so badly of mold that we had to buy air fresheners. You could see the mold on the baseboards. They had no other rooms available & I was unable to get a refund. I ended up sick with bronchitis due to the mold.

Staff was very friendly helpful. The room linens & room 'amenities' were lacking - Room only had 1 bath towel and a bath mat initially; no other linens. Asked for more bath towels, for hand towels, and washcloths; was provided with another bath towel and washcloths but was told they didn't have hand towels, which was strange. Bed did not have a proper comforter (just a flat sheet, fuzzy blanket, and then another flat sheet on top of that) and also had another flat sheet to cover the mattress. No extra toilet paper rolls were in the bathrooms - had to go to front desk to ask. Fridge did not work.

Ill start with the good: - Spacious room with basic kitchen utensils. - Location was nice and convenient with a Publix, Walgreens, nice dining options and the beach close by Now the bad: - The room just feels a little grimy and old. It badly needed an upgrade - There were a few small (baby?) cockroaches throughout my stay. I was overly paranoid so i actually got spray myself and use it. It was only the 3, so i wouldn't quite call it an infestation. - Calling the front desk is very hit or miss and since they have 2 properties about 15min walk from the other, if you stay at the one without the front-desk it could be a while - WIFI is very slow and direct tv went in and out alot

I do NOT recommend this hotel at all!! No where are you told park across the street in a pay lot. YES! you have to pay to park from 8am to 11pm everyday I never saw that information located on their website or on hotels.com anywhere. Also, on day 3 of my stay I put the Do Not Disturb sign out on my d oor before i left for the day. When I got back to the hotel a few hours later, someone had been in my room. They had been through my things and had taken a USB cord and plug. The USB cord was plugged into a USB tower and went through a bag that was sitting in a chair and got the plug.i wnt to the front desk to complain and i was told to go.back upstairs , get some water and sit down. I was so mad I could not see straight. DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!!

The room was very clean, plenty of space to relax. The AC worked well. There were no face clothes, and while the shower worked well, it took a minute to figure out the temperature. There was no ice on site which was just an inconvenience, but the front desk pointed us to one we could access nearby. The location was perfect and while we did not require much, the front desk was friendly and helpful.
