It wasn't easy to find this property especially with the construction next door. You are immediately greeted warmly by staff but check-in is strictly enforced at no sooner than 3pm.
When you take the single elevator to the floor assigned, you immediately notice the beautiful decor in the hallways.
Upon entering the room, there is a nice aroma in the room. Almost seems like an air freshener. The beds are comfortable. The wifi is strong. However, you can see marks on the wall and the furniture looks worn out.
The bathroom has all the amenities you need. You have shavers, toothbrushes, combs, etc included. However, the shower has one liquid dispenser. The same liquid is the shower gel and shampoo.
For breakfast, you head to the basement and that is underwhelming. One egg choice, one meat, one vegetable and congee. There is enough to eat to keep you full and going.
In the same 24 hour lounge, there are "snacks." They are not snacks to be honest. They are small candy-like cookies and one lollipop.
The location of this hotel leads you to two major streets where buses are lined up to take you everywhere within the city. You are also one block away from Chun Shui Tang, the awesome bubble tea place.
However, we booked this hotel based on reading multiple blogs from 2017 and there has been a steady decline in both food, decor, amenities and overall appeal.
For a family of 3, we booked a quad but for the same price, I could've booked a larger hotel in the same location.
