We stayed at the Villa Torlonia for 4 nights in September 2022. Valentina welcomed us and was very nice and helpful with an excellent spoken English. Originally, this was not at all what we expected, as we thought that there was a small kitchen in the room, but this was a shared kitchen with 3 other rooms. However, we were very pleased with the accommodations and were able to meet other travelers in the common area. There is a small fridge where you can leave food in it. The room/bathroom were very clean. After the second night, Valentina asked us if she could clean up the room/bathroom, which was very nice.
We have found the B&B to be a little far from the main touristic center – over 20 minute walk depending where you want to go, and a 15 minute walk from the main train station. However, we took the bus at Porta de Via (5-minute walk from the B&B) to go to the touristic places with the lines 60 and 62. The buses are frequent and only cost 1.50 euros per ticket, so it was very cheap compared to taxi, and you can purchase the tickets at any Tabaggi. A good app to download recommended by Valentia was MOOVIT. It basically helps you get around the city by train or metro.
You can also find a grocery stores close to the B&B and a few nice restaurants just a few minutes by foot
