I had a very noisy room, next to a room with several kids and facing the apartments ( early morning deliveries happening)
I asked front desk staff 3 different times for a noise machine, but it was never delivered despite being told it would be sent up.

I guess this is the style of these AC hotels, but we found it disappointing compared to other Marriotts like Residence Inn, Courtyard, or even Fairfield Inn. The room was cramped. The hallways have black walls and signs so it's hard to read the room numbers. Blind people who know Braille are better off. The beds were good, but the shower and faucet barely put out warm water and not much of it at that. We will continue to seek out Marriotts, but not these AC Hotels. Also, they had this weird policy of charging a $25 per night "destination fee". Yes, you can use it as credit in the hotel, but there's no mention of this until you are booked.

We enjoyed the comfortable and clean room we were given. We parked on site which was very convenient. Good coffee in the lobby. I would recommend the hotel. Can’t do anything about the trains noise. It is what it is. I enjoyed the hotel and my comfortable bed.

This property is always clean and safe, which I appreciate. However, the breakfast which is obligatory is dreadful. I would prefer the option to not partake, or else to have a nice-quality pastry rather than a preservative-packed one. The rooms are very nice, except that some of the design elements make no sense, like the flat sinks that don't drain and leave debris all over the place.

We booked this hotel along with many other families for the BC vs. Clemson football weekend. Since the hotel promotes itself as a “BC Football Hotel,” we were very disappointed to return at halftime hoping to enjoy cocktails in the lobby, only to find that the game could not be shown on the TVs in the bar/lounge.
When we asked at the front desk, we were told that the hotel does not have the ACC Network. This is unacceptable for a property that markets itself around BC Football weekends. Many guests were disappointed to miss the second half of the game after leaving the stadium.
If you’re planning to stay here for a football weekend, be sure to confirm that they’ve added the ACC Network to their cable package—especially given the premium rates charged on game days!
