3 star but could be a solid 4
Overall we were pleased with some aspects, not so much with others.
The pros:
Swim up suite is very nice and comfortable.
The service in general is very good, with most staff being attentive and friendly.
The dining restaurants offered good food and great service.
The coffee shop is very nice and the gym is massive with top notch equipment.
The cons:
Buffets were underwhelming. There was a wide variety of rather poor quality food. This applied to both breakfast and lunch.
The beach is a sore spot. Lots (and I mean LOTS) of party boats are permanently mooring on the beach. The view is fully obstructed and the water is not as clean as it can be. The sand had not been cleaned from the algae washing ashore, and even the lounging areas were not properly cleaned.
The main pool is huge, but is missing a swim up bar.
Overall, if you want to be away from the floks of boozy tourists, and receive good service, that’s the place to go. Just curb your “5 star” expectations around the food & beach.
