The hotel was excellent and I enjoyed my stay there. It was in a convenient and central location while I was in Kyoto for a few days for the first time. The staff were very kind. The hotel room was a comfortable size for my partner and I, and the hotel was able to smoothly assist us with transporting our luggage to the next hotel for our next destination. Amazingly helpful staff, very comfortable beds, clean rooms with both air-conditioning & air purifier. Less soundproof, but mostly dependent on fellow travelers whether that's a problem or not. Only slept with noise canceling headphones the first night (very light sleeper) and was perfectly fine the nights after that.
