Newport is beautiful. The 25 mph speed limit on most roads was great for sightseeing. The historical district & buildings were lovely. Wish we had time to do more of the cliff walk! Stunning scenery. Friendly people everywhere we went. Great seafood!

Newport is a charming town with beautiful homes. The cliff walk was my favorite part; stunningly beautiful! We also visited the Breakers, which was magnificent! Waterfront harbor was fun & relaxing, we had lunch at a seafood restaurant on the water.

Newport is a terrific little tourist town, regardless of the season. There's plenty to do in walkable distance and you'll never go hungry there. However if you do need to drive somewhere, parking can be a challenge.

Newport is a wonderful town to experience the Gilded Age, take a tour of one of the mansions, go out on a sailing tour, amble along the Cliff Walk, dine on local Oysters, have lobster.

Newport is an easy place to visit, but very touristy. It definitely has a relaxing vacation feel to it, but it is lacking unique dining and shopping experiences. The cliff walk is beautiful and a must-see though!
"Everyone at the hotel was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. The room was welcoming, and the Hotels living room cozy enough to just hang out after a long day of walking Newport. And the view of Newport from the roofop was priceless. Will stay again and highly recommend them."
"This place is a gem in the heart of Newport. Every year, I consider staying somewhere else, but we always end up coming back here. The staff is wonderful, and the waterview rooms are unbeatable. We even extended our stay because we were having such a great time. Already looking forward to returning next year!"
"My wife, one year old and I had a great time. Breakfast was great, location was perfect for walking distance to everything and the service was wonderful. Highly recommend!"
"Everything was amazing from start to finish at the Mill Street Inn. My husband and I don’t want to stay anywhere else when we visit Newport. It’s a wonderful hidden gem of a hotel. We absolutely loved our stay. The Inn has 3 suite options. studio, deluxe suite and townhouse suite (roof top balcony view). We stayed in a deluxe suite. It was great so clean, spacious and bed was so comfortable. Wifi was great no issues at all. It’s the perfect location for everything in the area. We walked to everything in town. It was truly a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back! "
