We received a notice the pool was going to be under construction. It was the whole area under construction. Planting of coconut trees, so you had a small area to lounge on a chaise next to bobcats. There were drills and hammers being used. It will be beautiful when done, but I wouldn’t have stayed under these circumstances.

Stay was great but we were never informed about the ongoing construction at the resort. Most of the resort was not accessible. It wasn’t posted on the website or at time of booking. We would have planned better or another time if it was up front. Feel a refund or rebooking credit should be honored.

We stayed several nights and attended a friend’s wedding which took place beachside at this resort. Beach-inspired decorated large bedroom, clean bathroom and lovely partially covered patio area with lounge chairs, dining table/chairs. It was beautiful… very relaxing. Beach was pretty. Despite the construction which was not bad … one pool was open, not crowded at all. Service and staff were all very friendly. Dusti Rose helped me with places to eat and a late check out she was amazing and very helpful!! My only complaint was the Pina Coladas were terrible.. very expensive. They should get the recipe from Hog Heaven best frozen drinks on the island!! Had a wonderful time will definitely be back!!! Can’t wait to see the resort all finished!!! Islander Resort
Really nice hotel. All staff we interacted with were excellent and couldn't do enough to help make our stay enjoyable. Only negative was all the building work going on,but I'm sure that's only temporary and will make the hotel even better when finished
