Check the hotel loyalty 1st!
Stay was great however the price I paid was 350 a night and I saw upon arrival the price was 180 a night …. I tried to get the difference and I was told no … very disappointing… I could have just booked the room thru Marriott for less than half the price I paid thru “the savings app” …

We were only in Boston for 24 hours, the hotel its self is amazing. Unfortunately, after a very short walk outside the hotel there were lots of substance users, in plain sight, jacking up. Not a pleasant experience, especially in front of our children.

4/10 Fair

Accommodations were fine, but...
Although the General Manager worked to resolve it after I mentioned it, whoever charged my credit card at the start of the day, before I was even there, miskeyed the amount, and maxed out my credit card... they realized it immediately and sent a credit. and then charged the correct amount. While the initial charge, and the second charge, and a subsequent charge for incidentals were processed quickly, the actual reversal of the charges took 5 days to process... it was my only credit card on me, and created quite a bit of havoc on my trip. Again, the manager tried to assist but the credit card company wasn't having it. So the little error of mischarging my card really put a clink in my trip. It was unfortunate. They upgraded my room, to a higher floor with a "view" and gave me bonvoy points for the trouble, which was nice. The hotel itself was clean and fine. Location was a bit challenging. Super close to the bus stops, but walking down the street at all, even in the middle of the day, met me with homeless and druggies. The "view" from the hotel was of the Boston skyline in the WAY background, but the foreground was a half-completed/renovated park with construction materials and equipment all over it. I came back to Boston 10 days later to fly out, and stayed at a different property.

The rooms were a good size with excellent facilities. Buffet breakfast available each morning which was really convenient and had something for everyone. Staff very friendly and helpful. There are good bus links outside hotel to downtown.

Easy to get to. Close to Amtrak as well as Brigham & Women's. Modern furnishings throughout. Safe pull in for ride share. Quiet with some traffic noise. Good security to entry and rooms. Spacious. Amazing hot water delivery and huge shower. Will stay again.

6/10 Good

Decent room. The location isn’t great.i wouldn’t feel safe walking the area at night. The hotel valet is expensive and they didn’t advise us that there was alternative free parking. There are also hidden fees so read the small print. We stayed one night and on top of the room rate we paid they charged an additional $150 in fees. Beware.would not recommend.

2/10 Poor

Terrible experience at breakfast
Dear [Hotel Manager], I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the breakfast experience during my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, the service did not meet the standard expected, especially considering the hotel was fully booked. Throughout the breakfast service, many essential items were missing, including yogurt, porridge, and even plates. The delay in refilling these items was significant, and to make matters worse, there were no tea bags available. This level of service was extremely disappointing and did not reflect the expectations I had from a Residence Inn property. Given this mismanagement and the inconvenience caused, I kindly request that you credit my Marriott membership (#913222339) with 20,000 points as compensation for this unsatisfactory experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your prompt response. Best regards, Abhinav Lal
