A great base for exploring the keys
The Hadley house was perfect for our family of four to use a base to explore the Keys. The breakfast is a simple continental but it was enough to get us started for the day. Pool villa room was plenty of space for us to spread out, the kids used the pull out sofa mattress and we had a separate bedroom. Furnishings were on the cheaper side, but by no means were we disappointed in the room. We even had our own car port. There is a Publix grocery store just minutes away and we took advantage of the onsite propane grill to cook some of our meals. There is a boat rental company on the property that is separate from the Hadley house but we spent some time by renting a boat for two full days (pay cash to save). Alligator Reef Lighthouse is visible from the property, and the sand bar is just a mile away by boat. it was very convenient to pull into the dock and walk to our room to clean up and rest. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again next time we want to explore the Keys.

Dirty room with mold
The room was not clean. The toilet was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. This is a picture of it after we complained and asked for it to be cleaned again, it was better but still dirty. The shower curtain was moldy. The coffee maker and ice maker did not work. The room itself was not cleaned well at all. The floor was filthy. I would not stay here in the future.

I will admit I was disappointed when I got to my room. It was dated and didn’t offer the comfort I was expecting. Very small bathroom. The grounds of the building were somewhat run down and the ice machine was not working. The communication with the staff beforehand was great so my expectations were pretty high. For the cost of the room it was a definite letdown.

Convenient stay in the Keys
Nicely located property. On waterfront. Includes bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. Breakfast is basic continental but adequate. A fan on the bathroom would be an improvement especially with the humidity.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS..your room is on the HIGHWAY!
I stayed at this hotel in Islamorada for two nights in January 2025, and it was a terrible experience from start to finish. First off, be aware of the hidden fees - there's a Destination fee for each day, along with a state tax of 7.5% and a county tax of 5%, which added an extra $70 to my bill. The room was nothing short of disappointing. You might as well park your car on the side of the freeway and sleep there because the level of comfort and noise is comparable. Don't be misled by the advertised "low price" or the promise of being "on the beach" - neither holds true. There is absolutely nothing positive to say about this hotel, its staff, or the accommodations themselves. The only redeeming feature is that the A/C and heater function - but, let's be honest, your car probably offers the same. The staff, particularly Kris, does not make the stay any better. If you must stay here, perhaps only consider it if you're with very young children or pets who won't remember the ordeal, and only if it's your very last option. Do not stay here with family or a loved one if you care about their comfort or your travel experience.
You will have a terrible rest as you are going to hear trucks for every moment you are in your room. Not to mention the court yard is very noisy, should you somehow manage to fall asleep.
What terrible soap and products that have been damaged by water and unopened by past unfortunate souls and left for you, just totally disgusting and undesirable, oh and don't even bother trying to go to the office as Kris will just give you attitude.

Would never go back
Glorified motel experience. I was being yelled at when I asked for a comforter. They said they dont have any comforters. They gave me a stained blanket and said they were out of sheets. One woman was very nice and got me an extra sheet, but the one lady yelling at me was not nice. Regardless I had to go to CVS to buy a blanket. Since they refused to give me another one. Very cold vibes, the TV is old not smart TV. The breakfast is terrible it’s just bread bagels and granola bars. It looks way nicer in the photos and felt deceived. I’d never stay there again. I paid a lot for this and feel like I’ve been robbed. what a rip off. I’m honestly traumatized from the woman who was mean to be « NO you CANT have an extra blanket » No one asked how my stay was when I checked out. Also it was a used toilet paper roll in my room as well.
