Started well ended in frustration & disappointment
The hotel room was nice along with the sun deck and location. The things that were disappointing was the curtains wouldn’t close all the because the way they were installed. Check-in is very limited. The front desk person could use a course in customer service and she was very unwelcoming. The worst part is they double charged me! I booked and paid in full on Hotels.com and understandably, you have to give a card at check-in for any incidentals. About two weeks later after getting home from vacation I checked my credit card statement and it showed they charged me for a full booking price even though I already paid. I don’t know how that could be a mistake and is extremely disappointing!

Perfect location
Nice small quaint place just off of Duval. Rooms are small, but you can't beat the location. Free parking a huge plus.

Look Elsewhere
It is located on the corner of Duval and Southard. Very much in the middle of things but because of this very noisy. There is free parking (when booked thru Hotels.com) about 1/2 a block away. The hotel is very old and run down. Our room, 310, wasn't very clean (for instance opened packages of chips in both bed side cabinets). The laminate flooring was chipped and separated. The bathroom was tiny. There were loose floor tiles as well as many missing mosaic tiles in the shower/shower threshold. The water barely made it to luke warm. The outside area, 2nd floor deck, was ok. It ended up being about $300 a nite after "resort" fee. WAAAY too much. I would not recommend nor stay there again.

The location was convenient. The building is obviously quite old - the floors were actually tilted, but the room was clean and suitable. After our flight arrived at 9:00 am we went to the hotel - knowing check in was not until 4 - but assuming we would be able to leave our bags. UNFORTUNATELY, NO - they were unwilling to hold our bags until check in OR after checkout. That meant we had to spend two of our three days in Key West carrying our luggage to every activity and museum. It was certainly not convenient - especially the last day when it rained all day.

Comfortable stay
Our stay in Key West was comfortable. The location was convenient. The room was clean but had an odd chemical/bleach/mold odor. The continental breakfast was nice with many selections.

2025 Key West trip.
Hotel has a great location. Parking up the street if you arrive by car. Coffee in the morning was empty both times I tried. There's a great coffee shop next door. The second day they never made our beds. We go new towels which was nice. My biggest complaint is NO HEAT. The rooms have no heat. It was very cold the week we were there. So cold you didn't want to get out of bed and shower. I understand its Key West but it can get cold there in January and February. I was very surprised our air unit didn't have a heat setting. The lobby has heat just not the rooms. Another cold front is coming down next week. I feel bad for the people who have no idea about the heat situation.

Great location and staff
The staff is amazing, everyone was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were nicely decorated, but the beds both had indents from other people and made it hard to get comfy. You were either on the hill, rolling into the dent or in the dent. The bathroom was also not very clean, especially in the corners. The hot tub, which ws one of my main reasons to book was only bath water warm which was sad. The rooftop terrace was nice, but I wish they had some heaters up there for when it got cold. Would've loved to spend more time up there, loving down on Duval St. You can't beat the location. There is a great restaurant right across the street with Thai soup (Tom Kha) best I have ever had.

Stayed here for 4 nights while in Key West, good position and most places were easily walkable, only downside was it's in the popular end of Duval street so it was noisy until the early hours

Very old property but clean and in a Great Location. Steep steps and don’t plan on using the tiny pool with only 2 chairs available. I would stay again just because of the location.

Nasty one
The front desk clerk or manager had a nast personality. Had a issue with flying in early and had no where to leave bags until check in, only option from her was to leave it in the dining room, open to public. Her personality and professionalism was extremely bad. We got better help and options from maid service. She needs to check her personality outside.

Pricey but convenient
We arrived after regular check in hours. Called the after hours number posted and service was immediate and courteous. The facility is not new and it shows. The shower in our room featured a waterfall type shower head. Flow was good and hot water supply was good. Sink water supply and pressure was weak. Toilets are old and sit LOW. The toilet functioned fine. No issues there. The room is set up up with a couch at the foot of the bed and the television is mounted directly over the couch. That means you can only view the television from the bed; which I felt uncomfortable. You don’t go to Key West to watch TV. Electrical outlets are aged, allowing plugs to fall out and lacking in quantity. Parking was a half block away and not inconvenient. The location is prime. Right at the halfway point of Duval St from East to West. If you are a walker you can walk to anywhere conveniently. Breakfast provided is minimal however there is a Cuban Coffee Queen facility 50 yards walk across the street. There is a pool and a hot tub on a second floor deck and you can sit on the deck and watch the pedestrian traffic on Duval St while relaxing there. Front desk has limited hours. The after hours contact is the star of the hotel. Natalya is a whirlwind of activity and hospitality. There was nothing we needed that she did not accommodate to our satisfaction.

Excellent location! Just off Duval Street with so many options for shoppin, drinks and great Cuban food. The two beds in a room, which i believe are few here, meant the bathroom door was immediately beside one bed (i could sit on the side of the bed and my feet were in the bathroom), which was odd. Not a lot of bathroom space and shower tiles needed a thorough cleaning. Pool area was not clean - ketchup stains (I hope) were on the one table all 4 nights of my stay. The rooftop pool looked nice - larger than expected. No ice machine near the pool, as another guest loudly complained about to me, should be noted. Local live entertainment means significant noise levels until midnight, or so - recommend ear plugs for light sleepers. I would definitely stay here again, but only if i couldn't find a better price nearby (boat race nights, prices doubled - over $600/night).

Location Location
Last minute Halloween getaway. Location is fantastic. Was worried about noise but our room was back off Duval and on the interior so noise was quite tolerable w AC running for white noise. Clean and basic. Included bfast is basic. Pool w jacuzzi is on second floor. Nice option to have but was basic and small. Price was ok too comparatively.
