I wish we were told that a family reunion was happening that took over the outdoor pool and the hotel for that matter. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the outdoor pool… by the time my kids were able to go in the outdoor pool with the slide they stayed in 10 minutes before they closed it due to pending storms… then around 9 pm there was loud music playing for a few hours we could hear in our room… this was a waste of money and time I could have stayed home 15 minutes away

She made us feel welcomed and started our vacation off with happiness! The pool area was very clean and inviting. We enjoyed an evening by the fire pit outside on our last night. Not recommended and won’t be back.

For the cost of the rooms I expect cleaning service with fresh sheets and towels daily (without having to ask for it). We checked out a day early because the beds were uncomfortable (squeaky with springs popping) causing us to wake up with backaches each morning. Losing the money because the stay was paid in full prior to the trip. A continental breakfast should be offered like other hotels such as the Holiday Inn Express we stayed in prior to our stay here. A breakfast upgrade at their attached restaurant could be optional. We chose to leave and eat at local establishments since we had to pay either way. As far as cleanliness, it was very clean. Both pools were clean and well maintained. The ice machine was broke on our floor, so we had to go down to another floor to get ice. Not sure about staff friendliness. Only interaction with staff was during check in and check out. They were both nice, but just kind of going through the motions.

Anniversary stay

My husband and I were there for our 33 rd Wedding anniversary and we got our room promptly and even a bit early, but there was banging and drilling and hammering in the room above us from construction for hours that day! Then the next day, one of the back slide doors didn’t work The convenience of this place was excellent, but I have stayed in multiple hotels in the same area, it was an OK place, they also only clean rooms every other day! We were there two days so they didn’t even have to come in our room at all to clean
