Other than having trouble locating the entrance when we first arrived, everything was terrific! Dennis and the rest of the staff were very kind and attentive & it was nice to have front desk staff on duty 24 hours so we could ask for assistance whenever needed, which many apt accommodations don’t include. The location was also very convenient to the grocery store (downstairs) plus quick access to the London tube and a short walk to Kensington Gardens. I would definitely stay again when back in London.

Good apartment in Kensington for family

I rented a 2 rooms apartment. It is an old building, but very spacious for my family. The Kitchen was well equipped. All staffs were eager to help. Location is in Kensington; which are good if you prefer a less crowded area. Wholefood supermarket and M&S are nearby.

This was my first stay at Monarch House Serviced Apartments and it is where I will stay whenever in London. I am recommending this place to friends and family. The property is excellent. It is aesthetically appealing without being over the top; the apartments are well appointed, the layouts and space more than comfortable; instructions are clear and well communicated. But what really makes the Monarch exceptional is its staff. The young man, David, was the first staff I encountered. He was informative, kind, and gracious. Later my first night I met Hamid. He was the epitome of old world professionalism and charm; not at all stuffy in manner. And the young lady, (please forgive me as I've forgotten her name), but she was humorous even when being professional which made encounters lively and easy. With staff like these three, the Monarch is beyond exceptional. The property is ideally located in a thriving part of Kensington and directly across from lovely Holland Park; Public transportation abounds, although catching a taxi can take some doing, so it's better to download their app and scheduled any taxi rides. The hotel gives you a card for a discount at local coffee shop Bon Bon, where the pastries are soooo good. Monarch House is the place to stay if London is your destination.
