Do not stay here
There was no reliable heat for over 12 hours after checking in. The staff on site who are not related to the booking did more to help than the actual company. During this time the temps averaged 17 degrees. I was also locked out of my unit on the 6th floor balcony due to AUTO LOCKING DOORS with no sort of signage or notice. Then the hotel staff emergency number does NOT work. You will not speak to a human calling ANY of their numbers. I had the key the door to get inside. I almost had to call the police for help. My entire stay was overshadowed with being forced to report issues, like the heat. I spent so much of my stay on the phone with hotels, the host, and the building management that it impeded the trip and business I had. I’m very unhappy.

NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN
It was a family trip for holiday. The rom was given to me exactly at 04.00pm although the room was empty and I was prepared to pay extra for early checkin. There is no front desk. ITs only a security person sitting there who cant help you with anything at all. IT was very cold about -10 deg. Celsius outside But there was no hot water running in the taps. The first day we managed with just warm water. On second day there was not even warm water. We called the security person and after long waiting hours he came up and fixed something. That worked for that day. On the next day again there was NO HOT WATER. We called the security but it's different person everyday. The person knew nothing and refused to help. He made a call but said there was no reply. We called the customer service several times for next 3 hours as we had an early morning check out on next day. On every call they said someone would come to fix the problem but nobody came. Finally there was a call from the customer service only to tell me there is nothing they can do about the problem. It can be fixed only on the next day after my check out. We had to take cold water showers in minus temp. The dish water was also leaking and soap water was coming all over the room. While they are have very sophisticated system to send emails, notices, reminders, collecting credit card details but they are pathetic when it comes to service. I will never stay here again nor will recommend anyone to stay here. ASKED REFUND

We stayed here for almost 2 weeks so I feel I can give a pretty accurate review. We read other reviews prior to booking and felt they were pretty accurate in their own ways: Good: 1. Yes this place is right in downtown Boston and very walkable. Lots of restaurants within a few min walk. Nearby felt safe. Uber drops right off in front. 2. The place we got is the 1 BR option. All Bosch appliances inducing washer and dryer. All working. We didn't try the dishwasher though. 3. Spacious and generally pretty clean. Basic number of dishes, cups and utensils. 4. Price is good for the space and location. To improve.. 1. We realized this building must have many other units for rent. Our unit was good, but others might not. The maintenance guy came in for inspection and said our unit was one of the better ones. 2. Shower curtain too high and there was evidence of prior water damage. I unhooked a few hooks of the curtain to let it hang lower so that water wouldn't splash outside. The maintenance guy said they knew this issue and appreciated my effort to keep the water not to splash out. 3. Bathroom first smelled moldy. I figured out it was coming from the sink and shower drain. I bought a bottle of bleach and fixed it. 4. Internet was at times slow. It made working zoom call challenging. 5. Workout room has been closed for a few years due to COVID. It"s time to open back up! 6. You need to clean pretty much everything when moving out, think a regular apartment moveout.

Great location
Great location on the edge of Chinatown, just a few blocks from Boston Common. Our studio was clean and comfortable (with the exception of the sofa). My one complaint is that the coffee packs they gave us could not be used in the Keurig that was in our unit.

Felt safe once I got into the building. Parking is insane and though the website said they would help with parking, there was no help and only one suggestion to park several blocks away and walk. I get this is downtown Boston but people staying here aren't always knowledgeable about urban parking. The facilities were clean but needs some TLC. Supplies (such as toilet paper and paper towels) were scarce so plan for getting your own if you stay for more than 2-3 days. Good: clean, comfortable, quiet, and safe. Close to many things but getting around is a pain.

Very modern and clean. Apartment looked great, but past the look, the apartment needs some updates. Here my takes: - Shade in master bedroom not working. using clips to make them work!!! - Master bed passed its prime time and noisy. Can't move without bed making weird noises. - Mater bathroom door has no way to stay shut. It opens automatically. - Upon arrival, second bathroom was running. Flushing didn't resolve the issue. Could have been fixed prior to our arrival. - Don't expect to get checked in a minute before 4pm. Security made us wait in the lobby 30 minutes, to suddenly pulled the checkin enveloppe from a drawer...

Alex in reception was very helpful and nice. Communication overall was poor (texts). Apartment could be more equipped. More blankets, mirrors and kitchen tools. Carpets didn’t look that clean and pillows were stained. Yet overall was good. The area is excellent.

So so in Chinatown
Our stay was so so. Very clean but no water pressure whatsoever. This made for unpleasant showers. Also, there were not enough towels. Lastly, the outlets need attending to. It was to hard to plug in phones and other electronics.

I've been using Expedia for my travel needs for years and always found the highest quality of establishments offering excellent service. I must say that I'm surprised that Expedia would have Global Luxury Suites Downtown Boston as one of it's choices. The level of disappointment felt by my family and myself was immense from the moment we walked into the 'hotel'. There was no hotel staff in the lobby, only a a security guard who mechanically went over the rules of our stay. We were informed that there was no room services, no maid service and we would be responsible for the cleaning of the room and removal of any trash upon our departure. When entering our room we quickly found numerous issues: The fold out couch bed sheets were dirty. Half the outlets were not working (couldn't plug in computer at the desk had to charge it in the kitchen), there was a jungle of wires hanging out of the TV's and the dryer, the handle on the refrigerator was wobbly, the two window shades would open and there was a sign that read 'Please do not use this shade to avoid further damage', the closet light switch didn't work, we washed the bed sheets but they took over two hours to dry. I have pictures of all this. Our first reaction was to look up other hotels in the area but of course last minute in Boston everything was full. For the money we spent to stay at this 'hotel' we were expecting much better. With no 'hotel' staff on site there was really no one to offer complaints to.
