Good but under construction

Best hotel for conventions at the Hynes or Prudential Center. You don’t even have to go outside if not needed. The only issue with this trip was the construction going on. Last year was much better and feel the cost could have been lower based upon the repairs and lack of amenities.

A lot of refurbishment was done to the hotel. Ugly entrance. But very tidy room. Horrible view, though.

Don't use the Valet parking.

1st thing when we arrived we were informed by valet that our standard sized pickup truck was an "over sized" vehicle and the price changed from $70 a night to $110 a night. When I asked the hotel for assistance I was informed that because I booked through a 3rd party, Hotels.com, they really couldn't help me. The valet person offered us a different parking option which was a 15 minute walk to and from the hotel, we noticed a parking garage to the right of the exit and pulled in there in hopes of not having to walk a mile back to the hotel. The parking garage had space, we parked with no problem and ended up paying $46 a night, so it worked out in our favor, no thanks to the valet or hotel manager.

Lovely hotel but excessive parking fee

The hotel was lovely, and the staff friendly and accommodating, The only negative was the $70/day for parking, which I find to be excessive. My children and grandchildren came to visit while their father and I are here in Boston as he prepares for a stem cell transplant this week. $140 on top of the cost of the room is a lot for young families.
