Spasmata Apartments is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Kefalonia. The family that owns the hotel is very kind, gracious and welcoming - it was an experience of φιλοξενία. When my plane was delayed and I arrived very late at night, the owner, Gerry, took the time to drive near the airport so that I could follow by car and not get lost looking for the hotel. The location is extremely convenient - so close to the sea that every evening could end with a beautiful walk. It was only a short drive to Argostoli. The room was immaculate and a pleasure to stay in. The apartments are part of a picturesque and peaceful environment, and are clustered around a stone courtyard lined with lovely flowers. A minimart is conveniently located. Highly recommend.
