Used to be a great hotel
This used to be a great hotel back in the day, but you can really see the decline. Check in was fine. The carpets in the hallway looked really old and somewhat dirty, but it’s winter. Got to the room, bathroom light was flickering but still went on. The next day, the bathroom light stopped working. Went to call the front desk to find that the phone, though plugged in, was old and not working. Walked to the front desk at 2:00 pm and asked someone to fix the light, was told it would be fixed. Got back at 9:00 pm and it wasn’t fixed. Walked back to the front desk and said that the light still wasn’t working. The lady at the desk said, “well, do you want someone to come and fix it???” Ummmm…yeah, that’s why I walked down there! Had a guy come to the door about ten minutes later, and he looked like he was from two rooms over rather than a representative of the hotel.
The pool was dirty and the hot tub was surrounded by what looked like crime scene tape. You could hear people in the hallway like they were in the room with you. No in room fridge.
This used to be a great hotel but it appears that it’s on the downward slope of the hill towards becoming another run down relic. Honestly? It could be a great hotel again but it appears that the people running it don’t really care anymore.
Good things? Comfy bed, restaurant on site, parking lot was well lit, water pressure was great, bigger room than expected.
