Good Location for Universal
The location is excellent for Universal. There is a free shuttle to go there in the morning (reservations needed) and come back in the evening. It does not run continuously throughout the day. There isn't much food option that is walkable from the hotel. We mainly ate at the restaurant/cafe in the hotel. The lobby looks nice but the rooms were slightly below average. The room pictures look way nicer, bigger, and modern than it actually is but the actual was still doable. Overall it was a decent stay.

Great budget hotel!
For a budget hotel - we thought the Clarion suites was good value for money. The rooms were spotless and beds comfortable and rooms were reasonably spacious. You only get maid service when requested - but we didn’t think that was an issue as we just booked it at reception every few days. Staff were helpful and couldn’t fault them at all. Pool area clean and nice pool. Shame the pool bar didn’t open. I’d stay again as great location for the universal parks.

We had noisy neighbours and asked to be changed rooms as they wouldn’t quiet down, only to get told there was no rooms left. So we left and asked again if there was another room before we leave and go somewhere else and I was told no. Call the next day to sort it out only to hear the guy that was working that night left a note about us leaving saying he offered another room for us. Which is a complete lie. We were refunded but I would never stay again
