Renovations and improvements!

They are renovating the hotel, the new rooms are much nicer and more modern. They also have recently renovated the front of the building. I imagine they are waiting for the renovations to finish to fix the parking lot, as there are craters that make it a hazard to drive through. Both entrances have massive pot holes but the city has torn up Wellington road and are expanding it which is why i think there are such bad road conditions everywhere in London and I don’t blame days inn, they probably want to wait until all the work is done to correct it otherwise it will happen again - just be careful pulling in (and driving anywhere in London, there are times it was dark and raining and I hit a pothole and was convinced my car would be damaged, they are just so terrible there right now!). Anyway the staff is always super friendly, the night front desk agent always remembers my name and everything I tell him and he follows up on prior conversations, there are such nice people working there and any issue I have had has been attended to immediately.

Worth the stay

Great location, a trash can would good for clean up around the property. Room was spacious, balcony sweet surprise King size bed was glorious. Secure with key entry in building. The towels were lackin and shower was bit of a waste with more pressure on my feet then head . Enjoyed the rest though worth the stay

Standard service lacking

Generally the service was good though the agent I checked in with was more business like than friendly. The agent in the morning was much friendlier and helpful. I had issues with the internet, the heating and the towel service that all required the assistance of an attendant. The hotel seemed to be in a remodelling stage as the corridors were not clean and had garbage in certain places along the corridors.

The place needs a major renovation

I recently stayed at this facility, and my experience was a mixed.The website’s pictures, particularly those of the lobby, looked promising, but the reality was quite different. Upon arrival, it became clear that the facility is very old and in dire need of a major renovation. The overall appearance was not presentable, to the point where I didn’t even bother taking pictures. While the facility functioned adequately for my needs, its condition left much to be desired. The discrepancy between the online images and the actual state of the facility was striking. Potential visitors should be aware that the lobby photos on the website do not accurately represent the entire facility. On the positive side, it was one of the cheapest options available, which might make it appealing to those on a tight budget. However, if you’re looking for a place that is visually appealing or well-maintained, this might not be the best choice

More like a run down extended stay motel.

When we arrived we were apprehensive, it looked more like a motel than a hotel, with outdoor entrances to the rooms. However, we entered the lobby & it seemed fine. We were checked in promptly & went to our room. We were told to enter door 1. Door 1 was propped open with an ice bucket, I didn't move the ice bucket because the push bar on the door was installed upside down & I couldnt tell if the door would even open if it was closed properly. The stairwell was full of buckets of paint. We entered the hallway and it was disgusting. The floor trim was completely ripped off, there was paint all over the carpet, I mean I understand if you are renovating, but you need to notify your guests before they book & the price needs to reflect the condition of the hotel. We entered our room & it seemed fine at first glance, but the bathroom had not been updated & there was black mould in the corner of the shower. There was one bath towel, no face cloths. We requested more towels & they quickly sent 2 more towels, but they did not have face cloths at all. FACE CLOTHS ARE NOT OPTIONAL IN A HOTEL. We quickly realized that we were in the part of the hotel where long term residents lived. Our neighbor was blasting music, the walls were super thin, many resident had "occupied" signs taped to their door. Our patio door went out to the parking lot & it was noisy the whole time with people coming & going. The fridge was so loud we had to unplug it. Definitely will not be staying here again.
