Great location. You can access the water in a short 10 min walk. Lots of food and coffee shops nearby. The hotel is older and it shows, but it was decently clean and the beds are comfy. Cute lil lobby with free water and coffee. We would stay again if priced right. We had a coupon so it was fine, but It’s not nearly nice enough for full price, even for Chicago.

This hotel is incredibly overpriced. $600 a night and the bathtub is super old and gross, there are cockroaches running across the floor, and blood spots on a towel. The walls are paper thin. I know this is a historic building, but at $600 per night they should be able to pay for proper pest control and basic updates. There are no amenities. Only positive is the location.

The staff was friendly and attentive. Room was clean. Lots of food choices. It felt relatively safe, which is important to me. No complaints about the hotel or my stay. However, parking can be a bit tricky; the nearby garage does not have in and out privileges. You can park on the street, but spaces can be scarce. I got very lucky and was able to park on the street for zero dollars!
