Ok visit
The TV in the room didn't work, no curtsons to block out the light, just shears. No breakfast as my plane was leaving at 0620 hours; there could have been a breakfast sandwich offered, as other hotels offer On the good note, the morning attendant was bright and activated enough to order a taxi for me as doon as he learned the shuttle (@ 0410 hours) wasn't coming.

Reasonable hotel
This was a nice-enough hotel. I'm sure it'll be much nicer soon, as it was undergoing renovations while we were there. That would have been nice to know when we booked. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and there is a good restaurant nearby. Breakfast was included and was pretty good, as hotel breakfasts go. If you take the airport shuttle, make sure they drop you off at the right place. We walked the whole length of the airport as the driver didn't seem to know where to take us.

Stayed during the weekend of the Taylor Swift concert, so like most hotels in the area, this place jacked up its prices. However, less than 48 hours after I booked, the price went down over $100/night. I reached out to see if the hotel would honor the price decrease, and they wouldn't... which is certainly their right, but it would have been a nice gesture. I've had other hotels do this, and it really speaks to the overall customer service of the hotel. As for the property itself, it's under renovations, and there is a musty odor throughout the lobby. The elevator hasn't been renovated though, and it is slow and rickety. We were on the bottom floor (street level) and the curtains were sheer and see through; so anyone could have seen into the room, just as we could see out. Didn't see a way to attach the picture here, but it didn't seem very safe. The "complimentary breakfast" is pretty weak too. Limited options, and they won't let you take a plate back to your room, so you're forced to sit in the very small, uncomfortable dining area. There are so many other hotel options in Richmond, I would never recommend this place.

Overall the staff was great very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean the building is run down Breakfast option was not very good The airport shuttle was not available when we landed past midnight and the shuttle going back to the airport was late from the hotel The desk staff were very helpful The overall price for this hotel was outrages but it was the weekend Taylor Swift was there. Price gouging should be illegal and this is exactly what all the hotels did this weekend.

Just beware shuttle is unreliable and if you have any issues the manager is “too busy”. I specifically booked this hotel for the complimentary shuttle service. Upon booking I received an automated message that the shuttle does not run between 12am-4am -our plane arrived at 12:30am, so we had to pay for a cab. I booked a shuttle for the following morning allowing an hour for my husband and I to get from the hotel to the south terminal-this should have been plenty of time. The hotel shuttle was late and made a stop at another hotel (which we were not aware of). Once we’d got to the main terminal we’d missed the airport shuttle to the south terminal. We asked the hotel shuttle if he could take us to the other terminal, he said we could get back in the shuttle and he’d take us back to the hotel, we could ask reception and if they said yes, he would take us. This made absolutely NO sense as we were now running late. Also, why not just call the hotel himself and ask his colleagues. Again, we had to pay for a cab to the south terminal. Once reaching the south terminal we had missed the cutoff time for getting our luggage onto the flight. As I didn’t have any luggage, I was allowed onto the flight. My husband who had checked luggage was denied and had to pay $105 AND wait for 6.5hrs for the next flight. I have since called 3 times and emailed the manager with no response. Each time I call, staff say the manager is “too busy”. I’m not sure what is more important than yourcustomers.

Will never return! The property and room were decrepid. The parking was almost non-existant. The heating/cooling system was broken. Even the cheap alarm clock in the room didn't work. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off and had black mold coming through. The stairwells were unsafe to use and cluttered with garbage. The so called breakfast in the morning was horrible. The sausages were cremated and should have been buried. The eggs were dry and the bread for the toast was stale. What a blight to Vancouver's reputation as a tourist destination. Avoid at all costs!
