An underwhelming Experience
When i checked into the property for the private capsule, I was greeted nicely by staff and was excited to come to the property. When I arrived to my capsule, it was hot and it made the comfort of the room undesirable. I told staff if they have any fans but I found there was no little fans offered at the property. Also, it has little places to have a place to eat food if you bring food back to the property. As a result, the St Christopher Inn needs to make some improvement on these issues. Best benefit will have to be however the location as it is convenient to the major areas of london

Experience verse pictures shown by Hostel.
Unfortunately we would never stay here again. The room wasn't clean, though our booking indicated on paper that we had a private bathroom, they not only didn't provide this, they even charged us (on top of this) to leave our bags for 2 hrs. They told us to take them downstairs (no lift to lockers) only to find out the lockers were charging us more, so we had to bring all the luggage back upstairs (without any assistance). The breakfast was a rip off. The pictures show eggs etc, all you will get will be cereal and "make you own" cheese and meat sandwiches on stale bread. Breakfast area was never clean either. Dirty dishes, utensils and glasses. Service provided by staff wasn't pleasant at all. Bathrooms were cleaned with a lot of chemicals, and smelt of them every morning.

The pods are well worth it! So much quieter and private with cool lighting. Get a bottom bunk though if you aren't limber! The place felt safe and lockers really help. However, take a big padlock, not a little one as they dont fit. I was so tired when I got there, I just slept in it but there were little hairs in my bed area which was grim! Told reception when I left and they said oh sorry. They didn't seem surprised sooo dont do what I did if you want anything doing about it. But over all the staff were very pleasant!

I stayed there for 3 nights: 1. If you are a light sleeper, don't ever think of staying at this hotel as they have a bar right underneath, that they have loud music until midnight 2. Personally, I feel like you can better to buy breakfast outside rather than paying GBP3 for a below standard breakfast 3., More to a personal experience that I have met 3 French people that they just kept talking during midnight when I was sleeping. They also made the room messy when asleep, not to mention I have found a used condom when I tried to dispose of waste... Therefore, if you have concerns on tidiness, think again when planning to stay at a hostel. 4. Staff are friendly as they should be. 5. The tidiness of the bathrooms could be improved, and maybe should separate female ones from the male ones?

Watch your belongings!
Someone stole my husband's wallet off his bed while he was asleep. I mean, that on him for not putting it in a locker, but he did notified the hostel that it had been stolen. The thief then used the credit card 12 times at the hostel. So either it was a member of staff who took it, or at the very least the continued to accept the stolen card over and over again after they'd been notified.
