This is not a hotel and I didn't realize I had to make arrangements in advance to meet the owner. Even if I had realized this, there was no phone number or direct contact information. It would have been helpful if Hotels.com, who I booked through, had sent some sort of reminder of this and a clear way to make check in arrangements.
I ended up standing on the street after traveling for hours, on the phone with Hotels.com, and the representative was not helpful -- she basically said she couldn't get through to anyone.
A cleaning person let me inside the building and the owner showed up after awhile and was very kind.
This is a shared bathroom situation between 3 rooms (5 people) and there was zero hot water in the shower. Other than the initial check-in issue, the place was okay. It is an 8-minute walk to the train station and a decent place to stay if your priority is to be close to the station, in a safe area.
