The location was good, but everything else was just okay. Especially, I couldn’t contact the host, and checking in was really difficult.They even asked for several ID photos. It made me feel uncomfortable. The accommodation was also expensive. I wouldn’t want to stay there again.

We booked a condo at the Britt on Bay Street for 5 people with a pullout couch and a balcony . When we tried to check in there we were at the wrong place . The check in receipt had a different address then what we booked and did not have a balcony or a pullout couch . One of our kids had to sleep on a couch that was terribly uncomfortable.

I booked this specifically because it included parking. I then reached out in advance of my stay to confirm the parking and was provided an address. Turns out, there isn't parking anymore and when I reached out to Global they replied with an updated document that showed a link to parking lots "nearby", keep in mind we had luggage and this was a problem. I also didn't realize this was more of a short-term rental and not a 'hotel' that I assumed it was. Short term rentals are not allowed in this building and that was told to us by security when we "checked-in". I had to send the damage deposit by pay-pal which raised alarm bells but I was already committed to the stay at that point. I started to check reviews online and there had been complaints, so I got really worried. I did receive my deposit back without issue, however. There are some additional requests as well I wasn't expecting, wash the towels we use, load the dishwasher, no 'parties', whatever that means. My recommendation? Find somewhere else, book an actual hotel with on-site service and guaranteed parking.

Not so good. We were extremely hot and had no control of the thermostat. The bed was not comfortable. The experience of staying in a condo and checking in was not as smoothe as staying at a hotel. Lastly, the parking garage that was recommended did not have overnight parking. We ended up having to spend approx $100 on parking.

The staff was very rude, I had a problem when I arrived to the property and when I tried calling to get ahold of someone, I was hung up on first, then I called back and a different person answered and tried to help but ended up taking down my Information wrong even though I repeated it 3 times so I called again, no answer, 2 more calls and no answer. At this point I’m extremely frustrated because it’s 5:30pm and check in was at 4pm and I had a concert at 7pm that I still needed to get ready for. On my 4th call I finally got an answer but i was immediately met with attitude, “yes” in an obviously annoyed tone “we sent it to your email.” So you knew it was me calling and decided to wait till the 4th call when you knew I was already irritated?? On top of that, it has now been 3 days and I still haven’t received a email back on where my refundable deposit is, after 2 attempts of reaching out. If I’m ever coming back to Toronto I will absolutely NOT come back here. Also it obviously wasn’t cleaned under the bed as there was items left from a previous guest, oh and the light above the mirror in the bathroom doesn’t work so hope you don’t have to get ready!
