Dirty, changed my room, someone else in my room when I arrived so not safe to leave any belongings in room as someone else was in the building and had access. Didn’t send entry codes to one room. No toilet or shower so had to use a communal toilet which didn’t have any toilet paper. Cheap for a reason. Clearly are not cleaning the rooms. Wouldn’t risk sleeping under the sheets so slept on top of the quilt

First of all, there was no staff or anyone to welcome you. We reserved a room with a private bath, and when we arrived we had been assigned a different room with no private bathroom. The shared bathroom available was filthy and the linoleum was coming off the floor. The bedroom was dirty as well and the beds were like cots, horrible mattresses. We tried to reach property owner with no avail. They never responded to any of our inquiries. Within 15 mins, we booked a room at local hotel and left immediately. Thornbury House should be removed from your inventory and no longer be permitted to rent rooms in private home. It was a 0 out of 10 rating for my daughter and I. Very disappointing experience. We weren’t even able to get a refund, since room was paid ahead of time through Expedia.

Shared bathroom down the hall was in bad shape.
Nothing in room matched photos on line. They only posted photos of kitchen area.
