The door is locked and you need to be buzzed in - that was a little scary when first arriving. They did accommodate us on the 2nd floor. Room was clean and a decent size. But trust me, no frills. Water pressure was mediocre at best. Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Ours had stains on them. Bathroom door trim was extremely dirty and hadn't been cleaned in probably months. Location was good - and after the door thing, we didn't ever feel unsafe. There is a Starbucks, Ross, TJ Maxx right across the street. The air conditioner was good - fridge and microwave worked well. Would I stay again?? Probably not. But if you're just looking for a night or two, this will do.

I stayed two nights. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. Pillows were flat, but stacking them helped. Shower was clean and the water was nice and hot. All amenities in the room were clean and worked as well. I saw a few makeup spots on the bathroom wall, the door had a handprint. I came from California and would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Chicago.

There are no amenities at this hotel, it is purely a place to sleep. The staff had trouble checking me in, which was the most frustrating part of my stay. They spent about 30 minutes trying to figure it out. Also, the machine to make room cards was not working, leading to more issues. For the most part it was clean. The shower had very little water pressure.

Very nice and simple. Good price for the amount of time we stayed. We did find a few bugs (ants, spiders, etc) on the walls and behind microwave. None in bed. Pillows were very thin, sheet and a thin blanket was given. staff was helpful. had to pay a $100 down deposit.
