We left with bug bites that match all the marks of bedbugs. We have had to strip everything from our house. We are very afraid that we have brought bedbugs home as a result of staying here.

feel unsafe due to so many homeless walking around the area. Need to ring the bell to talk to property/hotel owner or manager. We were the only occupant on this property during my stay.

The room was horrible! Drug deals right out front of the room. The site manager was rude and did not want to refund. Did not apologize about the horrible experience! Do not recommend

The hotel itself is decent; clean room, great management. That said, this is downtown Medford and there were plenty of people "partying" outside late at night

Carpet was very dirty. Bathmat badly stained. One of the two towels provided was in very poor condition and was almost unusable. Could not get wifi to work.

6/10 Good

The walls were dirty, there were cigarette burns on the bed cover, stains on the chair, the main office was cluttered with goods, if smelled strongly of mothballs and there was a baby cockroach on the front counter when we arrived. The front desk person seemed in a hurry to retreat to the back office and when we were confused about the key card flashing the front door red instead of green like the card said and like most key card systems do, he seemed annoyed that we didn't know to try the door. Yes, reader...this system flashes red when it's working! Would have been nice to have a warning. It was cheap (but still $80 with the Expedia discount), it was a bed, we slept fine, but be aware this neighborhood was super sketchy. We were worried about a car break ins from some of the wandering folks around the area, so be prepared to bring in anything that looks attractive to prowlers. Which is basically all our camping gear. 😬

No tropical getaway
The live in manager seemed annoyed when I checked in and out. I don’t think he said 2 words to me. Area was kind of sketchy would not wander out at night. The office area smelled. Room was ok. The window sill by toilet was full of dead bugs and dirt. Soap wrapper from last guest on shower floor. It was quiet. When I went to make coffee in the morning one of the packets with sugar and stirrers and such was opened. There was on old coffee pod in the coffee maker. Pass on the coffee. I guess for $71. That’s what you get. Served it purpose.

2/10 Poor

Bug bites, flies and uncomfortable pillows.
At first it looked like a standard motel but we noticed the pillows felt strange not soft, the fridge door was stuck and had hard time opening, a guy was in the dumpster outside... Then the morning came and my arm, back, front and leg had multiple bite marks. I was attending on the Medford Comicon and we went there early to setup on Saturday and finished at 5pm then went to get dinner. The Motel manager told me because I did not report this to him before 5pm he can’t refund that night stay when I told him I can’t stay there in this condition. I had to go find an other place to stay and pay for the night as I have had Sunday to finish the comicon. I would not recommend this place. I have stayed in plenty of hotels and motels and this is by far below the basic standard. This place is surrounded by homeless. If you don’t want bugs to bite you, book at the nicer part of town. I can’t post pictures of the bites as I’m not allowed to share personal information the app says if I want this review to be posted.

2/10 Poor

We travel all over since we are retired. While this was not the worse hotel we've stayed at, it was very unpleasant. The man at the front desk, not sure if he's the manager or owner, did not say hello, did not say thank you, he just had this attitude like "why are you bothering me?" The room - the bed cover was full of stains. The shower was horrible, with hair from multiple people stuck to the walls and shower curtain. Only thing good was, it had a nice fridge, and the price was reasonable.

Not for the faint of heart or weak...
The one positive thing I can say about this place is the manager was very accessible. Although I knew it would not be the Hilton for the price, our non smoking room wreaked of mold and cigarettes. Also the sink drain/plug was broke, there were 2 giant holes in the shower stall and it was filthy in the stall and there was no fan on bathroom either. That's just the issues with the room itself. In addition to all that, the evening of our stay a group of 4 or 5 super sketchy individuals decided that behind the building and directly under our tiny bathroom window was a great place to chat and shoot up drugs together. That was nice. And finally, all night heard people yelling back and forth to grab each other's stuff and this went on until after 4 am when my fiance and I finally were able to fall asleep. I think it is just one guy who works there so I feel bad for him as it's allot that goes on there to manage, but even for the $100/night price, I couldn't wait to get out of there! I wish I would've taken pictures of it all, but I only got one photo, which was taken the morning after the "up all night evening" that I found humorous. Not sure, but it's quite possible those sketchy folks outside our bathroom were legit running a little side business from the side of our building/room all night. This explains what kept them so busy and us up all night! Spend a few extra bucks and stay anywhere else in Methford. Trust me, it'll be worth it!
