Room was AWFUL. Mould everywhere, broken blinds that had tape on them to stop the gap, plug sockets hanging out the wall, coat rack hanging on for dear life, holes in the walls, shower unusable as just sprayed everywhere when turned on. Wish we’d have read the other reviews before we booked because we’d have avoided this place like the plague.

This is a great example of “you get what you pay for”. The staff were very friendly when we checked in at the bar. The room was cold as the heater did not work. The television did not work and there was no remote. There wasn’t a toilet roll holder or a towel hook and the room was right next to the DJ, which continued until midnight and was extremely loud. bedding was clean and plenty of room but the floors were sticky probably from alcohol. There was no instruction on how to check out but we finally found a key box after knocking on all the doors and getting no answers. To be fair to the owners they hadn’t long taken over and we didn’t complain or ask to be moved or for things to be fixed. Like I said you get what you pay for and I think this place could be great with a bit of TLC.

Stayed at The Minworth Lodge for two nights. Staff were lovley and very helpful you have to check in at the bar. Room was small but comfortable and clean. Bathroom was basic but good value for the price and ok for a couple of nights. Shower was great. Bathrooms could do with a repaint but the air extractor is not powerful enough to remove all the moisture. Sleep was great the bed was very comfortable. Will stay here on next visit 100% thank you!

Rooms are clean and breakfast was tasty.
But there was no water kettle in the room, I needed to ask to activate the boiler to get the hot water in bathroom, and breakfast started at 10am and not 8am.
Meanwhile, the staff was kindful and all in all we passed a good night.

Had a great stay Luke and his team are great very friendly and approachable nice bar the breakfast is fantastic especially for the price and the pizza shack in the beer garden is really good excellent fresh pizzas definitely stay again as the rooms are clean comfortable with great pillows
