Our room was decent and the location isn't bad but two things really turned me off. The main turn off was that the covers on the bed were gross. It was a dirty duvet between two sheets. They don't use a proper duvet cover so you inevitably wake up with your body touching an obviously unwashed and re-used duvet. Highly disgusting. The other turn off was the size of the pool if you can call it that. It's the same size as the hot tub. Very tiny. If you are visiting in summer don't expect to go for a swim... Just a dip.

The process of booking, checkin, check out, was seamless and super easy. The location is perfect. Short walk across the park right into the village shopping center. I didn’t have a view of the mountain but that’s okay I knew that when I booked my room. The only thing that I found as a draw back was the tv channels and how that entire system works but who goes on vaca to watch tv….no one. But I do like to fall asleep with the tv on and unwind for the night. I found it confusing, didn’t have regular basic cable or at least I couldn’t figure it out and takes these odd 2min commercial breaks of nothing being played. The room itself was perfect for a solo traveler, lots of space, storage and extra bathroom. The one thing was the coat hangers at the entrance seemed like they were gonna fall off of the walls and the towel hanger in the master bedroom bath did fall off when I went to grab the towel off. But again these are minuscule things. I would totally stay here again. The sushi restaurant next door is divine and a must stop dinning location. Do be aware there is a large refundable deposit. I didn’t see this on hotels.com while booking and was not made aware of it until after I confirmed my stay. I would suggest they be much more clear and upfront with that. I also had to call the front desk upon checkout to ask if there was anything specific I needed to do prior to heading out and was asked do I have a dishwasher in my unit? Which I don’t so he said then theirs nothing needed.

Very nice suite, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The hotel is right outside of the Blackcomb mountain gondola, which makes very easy and convenient access to the mountains during ski season. The whistler village is only about a 10 minute walk away from here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here.

Le Chamois is a nice building in a great location at the base of Blackcomb mountain. The rooms are larger than average for the cost, and hotel layout is easy to navigate. Only 3 stars for property condition as the common areas are in need of a refresh (carpet, paint, furnishings). Otherwise, I recommend staying at LeChamois for a Whistler trip.
