This is an old fashioned roadside motel like the old days BUT it's perfectly clean and serviceable IF you are in need of a place to sleep for the night. I was there because I had a client in Sag Harbor and all the nearest hotels were either booked up or $400-500 a night-so this is not a vacation spot, but a convenience spot. The breakfast is more of a few muffins, bagels, coffee etc, to grab and go, although each room has a little table and chairs outside to eat at. The room was clean and fresh- I was in the smallest room with a tiny bath, but it was fine for my needs.
The check in and check out was easy. I felt perfectly safe as a single woman there, although I haven't stayed at a hotel with a door facing the parking lot in..decades? LOL Finally, summer traffic there is a nightmare, so although the beach and the Hamptons are not far on the map, it takes forever to get anywhere from the hotel during the peak of the year.
It was a pleasant, retro experience for a night's sleep.
