    Definitely would stay again.
Great newer area of DC, the Wharf is central to everything: walking distance to the National Mall, water taxis to Alexandria and Georgetown at the hotel doorstep, great selection of restaurants, bars and entertainment within the wharf area. The hotel is very nice, so glad we chose to stay here.

    Good 6.0
    Nice location but disappointed
The breakfast on Saturday was a bad experience overall. To start with, the food choices were not good, and there were not enough staff to ensure that the food supply was replenished as they ran out. It's terrible that the coffee shop / bar was not open in the afternoon. Leaving an urn of coffee out there with only coffee mate was not helpful! At least some capsules of real milk or cream would have been better.

    GREAT STAY
Just a few things to know. The front door faces the wharf. Reception is on the second floor, so you must either take the elevator or stairs. The elevators that take you to your floor have no buttons in them. Outside the elevator you pick your floor then scan your key card and it then tells you which elevator to take. There is also a free shuttle bus https://www.wharfdc.com/getting-here/southwest-shuttle/ that takes you to the metro STATION and then on to the Mall from there to L'enfant plaza and back to the Wharf. Oh yeah the hotel is great too. I had a room with a kitchenette and Safeway is only 9 minutes away walking. Also there's a CVS Pharmacy where you get off the shuttle bus at the wharf and it has food also.

Amazing location clean, comfortable modern hote
This hotel was in a great location. There were several great restaurants along the wharf. Great views of the river and just a really great area that’s still not completely done still lots of restaurants still to come. The rooms were smaller but very clean and comfortable. For a family of four we were slightly cramped would suggest a bigger room then the king bed and pullout. Though the pullout was much larger then most places. The pool area was great it was clean and was a roof top pool so there were great views. Just limited seating. They had a great outdoor patio with seats and games was a great place to unwind. The breakfast was basic and very crowded. The omelette station was nice but very slow as there were so many orders. The location is amazing in walking distance to all the monuments and museums. Definitely would recommend this modern hotel would stay again.
