The expensive and disappointing stay at the Omni
At check in we were given a so called upgrade to a room on the 2nd floor in front of pool ridiculously noisy and as we noticed a horrible smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. Maintenance came and said sink& toilet have sewage back up. They worked on it and the entire suite smelled. Eventually we were sent to a different room. This was after we unpacked, so we packed up again and went to 469. Unpacked again and wanted to sleep, that wasn’t happening due to the drunk loud neighbors in 469. We received a charcuterie box as an apology. The room was flighty, our socks were black. Empty tequila in the elevator, noise all night the night before we left. The staff were very cordial and nice. The facility needs to be closed, cleaned and updated before anyone stays there.

Spa Sensation
The SPA at OMNI was the highlight of our trip. This was our second time coming to the Omni resort, and we returned because of the incredible experience we had the first time at the Omni spa. This time, we got an incredible couples massage by Ramon Rivera and Sean Lauer, which left us relaxed, rejuvenated, and pain-free! Ramon and Sean were courteous, professional, highly-competent, and made us feel at-ease throughout the experience. We will definitely be requesting them again in the future. The manager on duty, Jennifer, helped us resolve a scheduling issue and took great care of us as well. We will be coming back next month for two visits and this time will bring our friends. We cannot wait for our next trip to the Omni spa!!!

Room not ready on check-in. Moved to a different room. Made to feel that it was somehow my problem that the hotel was accommodating an entire football team and therefore unable to accommodate my reservation. Room service was terrible. This property is in desperate need of a renovation. It is in a beautiful location but just looks tired. The staff at the pool restaurant need to get their act together as well. The rooms are run down. The patios are dirty. White chairs that look brown. For what you pay, I would expect a bit more luxury. The place is just okay.

Great hotel on the beach with sensational, friendly staff. Only real concern was the room. We had three issues -- the first was the lever to open and close the drain on the sink was missing. The second was that the plastic plate around the outlet next to the sink was severely damaged. And lastly, the door would not lock when closed. All three of these issues were dealt with promptly during our stay.
