Enjoyed the Stay
We stayed at the Overlook Lodge at Bear Mountain. It was beautiful, despite the snowy weather and cold! The main lodge was also very nice and we ate there for both dinner and breakfast. If you stay in the Overlook Lodge, don't stay in Rm. 201. There is a nearby heavy fire door that slams shut and will not let you rest or sleep. Thankfully, we were able to move to a new room away from the door. I hope the hotel fixes that soon.

Check in instructions should mention check in address. Google map shows different address. It takes almost 20 mins to figure it out. Same time nobody was taking calls.

Website states to the effect of “If you arrive early, we will try to work with you, just talk with the front desk and we’ll see what we can do.” We arrived a little early. “Working with us” was informing me if I entered the room prior to 3 pm I would be charged $50. What?!!? Dinner at 1915 was good and priced okay, but the so-called 1/2 chicken is really a 1/4 — no drumstick!! C’mon…
