I'm sure I would have loved this property had I been able to check in. The room was paid for in advance, but on the day of my arrival, I was informed by text that my credit card wouldn't go through to pay for the incidental charges claiming possible fraud alert. I reluctantly texted them a second card: the same thing happened. I drove to my bank and was told that there was nothing wrong with either cards, no fraud alerts, and in fact no one had been attempting to use it. I suspected something shady was going on with this property, so I found another place to stay. Unfortunately, I could not get a refund due to Orbitz's policies. I am now very wary of booking any accommodations that rely on contactless check-ins.
