We had a great stay overall! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the hotel and surrounding area were clean and felt safe. The only minor issues were with the room itself. It was quite hot, even with the window open, and the street noise was noticeable. However, we spent very little time in the room, so it wasn’t a major issue for us. One thing to note is that the parking information listed valet parking, but valet service was not available. Instead, there is a self-parking garage just a short walk from the hotel. Other than these small inconveniences, everything was great. The friendly staff, cleanliness, and safe location made for a very pleasant stay. With a cooler, quieter room and more accurate parking information, this would easily be a five-star experience. We would definitely consider staying here again! Oh and if stay go to the restaurant for a burger and tots you won't be disappointed

I expected a lot more from this hotel given the location and the cost, a majority of the time. The lobby area was ok, but the elevator wasn’t working so staff had to take you in the service elevator. The room was very small, big section of paint was peeling off the ceiling and all around the trim. Outdated furniture, the toilet wasn’t really flushing and sat practically on the ground. The shower was basic. I really like the location tho. It’s close to alot of stores and restaurants.

Not my first time staying here. Overall, I really love staying here. The staff is great, location is exactly what I’m looking for, and I really appreciate the newly renovated rooms. On my most recent stay (5 nights), the elevator was broken the entire time, which makes it a bit inconvenient trekking up and down 4 flights of stairs with one’s luggage- especially since the stairway is so narrow in this beautiful, old building. Parking is not the most convenient and typically that’s okay too, except for today when I checked out, the hotel couldn’t validate because they were “out of stickers”, I had to pay a full rate in the garage. Would I stay here again? Not likely. I just hope the one elevator is repaired before my next stay.

The renovations don’t seem to be moving at a very good speed. The bedding and overall cleanliness of our room was great but the carpet near the walls is shredding and stringy. The bathtub and shower didn’t work well at all. Almost all the staff we encountered were very nice and had upbeat attitudes aside from one. Lack of a working regular elevator was a bit of a nuisance but since we only had to go up one flight it wasn’t too bad. Overall would stay here again when the renovations are completely done and everything is in working order.

The location is great. There's so much nearby within walking distance. It's an easy uber drive to Wrigley Stadium and close enought to Cloud gate and river tours. Unfortunately, the elevator was not working during our stay so it meant going up and down 4 flights of stairs. The staff was very friendly! They had just opened a new in house restaurant which is convenient, we just didnt get enough time to try it.

Cute boutique hotel close to shopping, food, Wrigley Field and other landmarks of interest. Wasn't aware of the construction going on until we checked in. No elevator but we were able to get a ride up to the 4th floor in the service elevator. Building is very old, stairwells are narrow, rooms are small and the bathroom is even smaller. Sink was very low when compared to more modern facilities. Bed was comfortable. Suited our needs but wouldn't stay there again until construction is completed.
