Hotel Lincoln is a good hotel to stay in and near many tourist areas. Room was clean but a little tiny. Overall, it was a good experience. The biggest exception was availability if parking nearby was 200 yards away. Close to many towing areas so be cautious!

Two broken window shades, no toilet paper or soap in the room, indifferent front desk staff ... grrrr! I've stayed at Hotel Lincoln several times over the last few years. I LOVE the view and I enjoy returning to a neighborhood I once lived in. This last visit was ... not good. I have high praise for the maintenance staff, who were helpful and polite. The front desk staff could use some training. Issues were met with a shrug or "I don't know." On check out staff didn't address me by name or ask if I'd had a good stay. When I asked if there was a post box nearby, front desk said, "I don't know, I never use one. There's an app for that." Could I drop off some stamped outgoing mail at the front desk? "No." (The postbox was literally steps from the door of the hotel.) I realize my stay seemed a bit cursed and -- stuff happens and that is no one's fault. But professional and polite responses go a long way to repairing a rough stay, especially in a hotel that already offers very few services. Some of the rooms are being renovated, which may add to staff frustration.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lincoln. Everyone was helpful, polite, respectful, and positive. The room was clean and comfortable (although a bit outdated). The hotel was close to all sorts of activities and food businesses. We ate at the Americano Restaurant and it was good, very convenient.

Cool vibe go the place. Lovely room on 11th floor with city views. Bar on roof and ground floor coffee shop both excellent. Bus links excellent though walked back from Navy Pier along lakefront. Will stay again.

Beautiful lake view room, we were upgraded to a junior suite, 8th floor. Beautiful room. Two window units to provide heat or AC. Lovely location right across from walking trails on lakefront. Excellent valet service made the car situation easier.

My husband and I came to Chicago for a concernt and I booked a room here because I liked the location. I reserved a king room with a lake view. When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready, so they offered us a junior suite, but said it may not have a lake view. We didn't mind waiting as we had dinner plans anyway. They gave us some vouchers for the rooftop bar and kept our luggage at the front desk. When we came back from dinner, they had very kindly put is in a junior suite woth a lake view. Delores at the front desk was super friendly and helpful in recommending some local restaurants. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The mattress was a bit firmer than I might prefer, but we slept well. Location is great, and we enjoyed walking around Lincoln Park and the zoo, as well as the surrounding neighborhood. We would stay here again if we come back to Chicago.
