Hotel with beautiful rugged setting
This property is beautiful, views are breathtaking! There’s restaurant on the premises we ate breakfast every morning and it was delicious. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Staff were always helpful and super nice. Two things to consider if you driving from San Francisco the road along the coast is closed and getting there takes longer also there’s no phone service. Hotel has landline and spotty wifi. It’s digital detox and super relaxing listing to crashing waves. We had really nice time.

Want a romantic or quiet destination to sit back and just relax and enjoy the view? This is a perfect inn to do just that. Fantastic views and peaceful sounds surround you with a spacious accommodation to let all your worries unwind. With a restaurant and coffee shop on site, no need to ever leave. You can even bring your pooch along and enjoy their company outside on a dog friendly patio while enjoying your meal. Plenty of space to walk around and just enjoy. Adirondack chairs situated around the resort to sit back and relax while gazing at the beautiful sunsets and ocean views. Don’t forget to bring along a padlock to leave your locks of love on the padlock fence to commemorate your time spent at Ragged Point.

Great experience
Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. well stocked with all you’ll need. Pet-friendly room was great! Great grounds activities and hikes nearby. Lunch was good at the inn restaurant drinks and key lime pie was fantastic. 10/10 will stay again. Love that this inn is family owned, you can fill it in the care they take in their guest.

Nice stay but no WiFi and avoid the restaurant
No internet except for in the lobby at 1 chair. Unacceptable in 2025. It would be impossible to stay connected to the office or with family at this property Had dinner at the property restaurant because the closest restaurant was 30 min away. We were told the bar/restaurant closed at 8 pm so put your drink order in now Rib eye steak skewers were tough and fatty and undercooked. Mushroom soup was tepid. Service not great inexperienced perhaps. Homemade bread excellent Morning baked goods at their bakery raspberry/cheese danish dry and definitely not worth the calories. When we checked in Chris was abrupt and somewhat rude explaining the lack of WiFi but quickly changed and became more pleasant. Rooms very comfortable and great view. Please change the chipped toilet seat in room 21
