Nice but not worth the price
Generally nice resort but seems to be la in general maintenance and upkeep. The room was clean, but wall was freshly and poorly patched, bathroom shower mounts were loose. Nothing deeply dis functional but just kind of rundown. There were several broken fixtures in the lobby men’s bathroom, flickering lights over lobby bar, lights burnt out over check-in area. Not 4 or 5 star level quality.

Beware
We paid more for this hotel than the Hilton Garden across the bridge as we wanted to treat ourselves. It looked deceivingly nice online. When entering the room it smelled musty and dank. Looking around we saw black mold around the vent on the wall and in the ducting. There were dark urine stains on the toilet seat rim as well as fecal matter. When we notified the front desk they said they could move us to a different room 'tomorrow', meaning the next day... also meaning we were stuck in that room for the night. We had to clean and bleach the bathroom ourselves in order to use it for the night. The shower tub was not clean either with a leak on the interior tile wall running into the tub. The staff had no means to deal with this problem or others we had encountered.

This hotel desperately needs to hire more staff. Everyone who works there is great, but there are always long lines at the front desk and only one or two people working. Otherwise it's clean, convenient, a little run-down for the prices, and kind of like being on a cruise ship.

Beautiful views but very poor customer service!!!
This hotel is in a great location! Beautiful views from our balcony!!! We arrived on a Thu afternoon & checked out on Sun morning, there was no air conditioning the entire stay. We were told repeatedly that it was being fixed but never was. It was 81° in our room & finally got a fan on Saturday night. Because I prepaid through Hotels.com they only offered to refund my resort fees & one tab I had at the bar, a total of $185! I paid over $2000 to stay there & a measly $185 was the only thing credited! Our stay was during the big festival week so there were no options to move to another hotel either. It was very disappointing to start vacation that way!!!

Long lines for everything. Breakfast, Check in, Starbucks ETC… No AC system im any of the rooms. as HVAC system is down and has been for a WEEK. … over priced for what you get .

Great vacation hotel!
This hotel is great! They have everything for a perfect island/beach stay in PR. Beach, pool, hot tub, family areas, rest areas, sport areas, shops, many restaurants, bar, and the view from our room was spectacular. It’s too bad we were only staying one night to get on our cruise the next day. Staff was friendly, too.

San Juan escape
