Very happy with Bay Hotel
Bay Hotel is in a very convenient location, only a short walk from the train station, and a short walk to the monorail station for Haneda airport. There is a great little area in the lobby with a washer & dryer, tea & coffee and a kitchen sink & microwave. The beds are comfortable and the shower is good. Overall we were very happy and will definitely stay here next time we're in Tokyo.

Great place to stay as this hotel is very close to the JR Hamamatsucho station. This is an excellent location if you are flying to or out of Tokyo, Haneda airport, as the airport monorail departs from this station. We used this hotel as the first and the last hotel for our trip to Japan.

I am very disappointed by the check-in and check out times. The check in is at 4PM and I reached at 3:30 PM. The staff didn’t even bother to check if the room was ready. Just a nonchalant, you will have to wait till 4. This attitude really pissed me off. This check in time is as it is quite late. On top of that, they want us to check out at 10 PM. Overall I am very disappointed at the customer service. This is probably my worst experience over my stay all over Japan.

Wonderful stay! Comfortable and convenient location. Was nice to have a large modern shower for a change as most hotels come with small bathtub with shower. I stayed in a solo room, the space was a bit tight with my large suitcase but I just did what I could around that. I would still stay again.

The property was very clean and well kept. There were a few issues I had with my stay. There was only one elevator on the premises, so it takes some time to go up and down during peak hours. There was one other issue where in the middle of the night, the heat turned on in my room without my knowledge. I woke up absolutely uncomfortable and it was too hot. I could not adjust the thermostat due to it being suddenly "centrally controlled" and I had to just turn the thermostat off so I could eventually fall back asleep. I would have rated this hotel higher if this wasn't an issue.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was just as described but a bit small for two people. There was very little space for bags or even moving around. I've stayed in [plenty of hotels in Tokyo but this one felt especially cramped. The shower was very nice with a very large shower head and plenty of water pressure and heat. There was construction happening in the lot next to the hotel but the noise was only apparent from outside and they did not work at night so that wasn't really an issue. Overall we were only there for a couple of days so it met our needs.

Really good option as a base to explore Tokyo - easy to reach from Haneda and for access to the train network. Lots of useful shops and restaurants in the area. Hotel very clean, and while there aren't facilities, such as a gym, and the rooms are small, this is typical for Tokyo, and if you are out and about exploring, that doesn't matter! Staff are very helpful and polite.
