I guess the place works if you just need a quick place to sleep for an overnight near JFK. But for those coming in the U.S. for the first time, this is a sorry way to make a first impression for our country. Ugly area. Lame property. Chaotic front desk. Low-grade breakfast. I suppose that's what you pay for, in a way (though it's not cheap, it is New York after all). But many countries do a far better job with their guests with a short overnight stay, even in bland neighborhoods by the airport.

My stay was short but good. The room was spacious, way more spacious than most hotel rooms near the airport would be. It was clean. Tiny bar and reception area though, but if thats not important for you. The bed was comfortable but the rooms didnt have complimentary water

Decent airport hotel
A decent airport hotel convenient to JFK. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The check in was seamless and we were given free water for our room. The bar area is ok but the service is very good. Breakfast was the usual buffet style with fresh fruit and a selection of cooked food. The shuttle bus back to JFK was a bonus. Would stay again.

RIPPED OFF IN NYC BY HILTON
We got to hotel… they had no reservations… gave them confirmation #… they found it BUT…My hubby made a numerical mistake in the reservation… so I went on line & submitted a reservation for the correct date. Got back in long line… got to desk … gave reservation number… she took my credit card… for what I thought was incidentals or deposit… INSTEAD SHE CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD the room rate…I showed her my receipt from hotels.com I don’t care what your receipt says my screen says you owe us the XXX DOLLARS…I asked for a receipt… you can get it in the am when you check out! The receipt did not reflect the charge ONLY BALANCE DUE… ZERO We are out the country this month. I hope you can fix this by then! I was doubled charged

Taking the shuttle from JFK was quite difficult because of all the construction at the airport. Hotel did not really explain how to find the shuttle, or tell me that pick up from my terminal was not available. The shuttle driver finally called me and explained how to find him, then he waited for me to return to the train and get off where he is able to pick up. All this run around wasted about sn hour and I had to do a lot of walking etc. Simple instructions upfront would have made the experience so much better.

Excellent service, timely shuttle, great value
The front desk staff were amazing--efficient, professional and extraordinarily helpful. We were having difficulty setting up our Uber ride and they noticed, offered to assist and made it happen in a nanosecond in a professional and non-patronizing manner. Our room was spotless and spacious although the bathroom is a bit dated. The shuttle driver was on-time, helpful and friendly--a great perk for anyone using the airport! We had an early flight and were delighted to discover that there was a "to go" breakfast bag waiting for us when we came down for the 6 a shuttle! Thank you!
