Hotel was okay, little out dated. Looks more historic. Paint chipping and carpet lifting. Room was clean. Now the parking garage, first it’s $20 a day. Also you have to be in early since the garage is very tiny with few parking spots. If you have a van or SUV like me then you will have to pull in your mirrors and let everyone out before you back in. Other then that is was okay don’t think I will be returning.

Everything needs some attention!
I was really excited at the prospect of staying in a quaint “aparthotel” situated so close to the High Museum and walking distance to a ton of great restaurants. That was about the only perk of our trip. When we arrived, the courtyard which could have been so inviting, was filled with dead plants and a fountain with a trash can lid on the top of it. Parking was also a joke- the garage is under the property and you can barely drive through it! The front desk employee checking us in made sure to tell us “no smoking” and the irony was, everywhere we went on property, we smelled cigarettes or weed, even in the entryway of the lobby. One time we got into the elevator and it was obvious someone had just been smoking weed IN the elevator by the lingering smoke and smell. There is also a terrifying noise in the elevator every time you pass floor 2. When we got to our room, we could hear running water… the bathtub hot water would not turn off. We went back down to change rooms and the front desk clerk was actually very helpful and even upgraded us to a loft which was very kind. The bed was comfortable but everything else needed some updates and attention to detail, just as the rest of the hotel does. The toilet actually felt unstable like it wasn’t secured to the floor…? On the morning we were leaving, we could smell weed again while in our bedroom (from the vents??)! Not the most pleasant stay but we still managed to enjoy our overnight trip.

While it was a beautiful atmosphere the property was a bit disappointing. The air conditioning was out in our original room.staff quickly and kindly changed it, but there were minor issues in the other room. Light switches not working etc. There is only one elevator. Stairwells were a bit unkempt but overall it was a nice stay. Davinci pizza wasa highlight.

No parking. Gave me a room I did not book. And then said I had to request the room when I checked in. Wanted to go back and forth with me about the room I booked versus what I received. The elevator and hallways are super hot. It was very unpleasant.

good location
The hotel is in a really cool old building, but it is in need of some loving. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but there is no food or bar, there is a falling apart event tent in the front, garbage can lid on the fountain and the stairs are filthy. The parking lot is $20/night additional and very tight and hard to navigate in a big car. For the price, they should fix it up and offer some ammenities.

Nice!
The parking situation is weird and cramped, but there’s a garage right next door if you don’t mind a little walk. The hotel was nice and the staff was super friendly! Overall, a good weekend.

Awful awful awful.
Awful. We spent two separate trips here pre-Covid, and this place was unrecognizable. Room smelled, staff was rude, parking a nightmare, and the food services and bar were closed for remodeling -- none of it was listed in the booking. We asked to cancel our stay because everything was so awful and they declined so we stayed. We should be refunded.
