The room was very clean and the staff were ok. There was no brouchers in lobby to look at to see what we would like to do, also no coffee makers and a fridge would have been nice. All in all it was a good stay.

Slightly dated but clean & great location!
Stayed one night here on a quickie vacation to Chicago to keep the cost down and a couple of nights in the Central Loop in a more upscale hotel. Experience was good. The motel is older and the rooms are a bit dated (a throwback to the 60's with the original yellow tub!) but very clean. We arrived very late for check in but front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating; we had asked for a quiet room when reserving and they provided us with exactly what we had requested. Free breakfast was ok, would have been nice to have some lower sugar carbohydrate choices (even toast & toaster for example) but it's difficult to complain about something that's a freeby. Price was very reasonable I thought considering the quality and safety of the area-many of the lower priced options I searched just slightly outside of the downtown Chicago area were in areas that were seemingly a bit more sketchy. The area/location was excellent, both in terms of safety and proximity to downtown Chicago.Very easy to get into the City from here. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Checked in fairly late and the neighborhood felt a little sketchy. Room was nice enough, clean and comfortable. A little over-priced but that may have been because it was not booked very far in advance, I had seen better price listings but missed them.

Great motel, clean and great customer service
Our stay was amazing! The hotel was very easy to find - even in Chicago! The gentleman at the check in had everything ready for us to sign, no loner that 2 minutes and we were on our way to our room! Exactly what we requested as well! The rooms are amazingly clean (for a motel - sorry ) we couldn’t get over it! Even on such a busy street/corner, we slept each night! Was fantastic to have on site parking as well - felt so safe and secure - plus convenient! The continental breakfast was simple with muffins, cereal and oatmeal... but all that is needed! We know that when we come back to Chicago - this is where we will stay! Great price for the location, cleanliness, customer service is top notch! Fantastic! Made our road trip/vacation that much better

Overall a pretty good motel, cheap for the area. Loved the free parking. Breakfast is included but the coffee was weak and the packaged muffins were gross. It's an old 1950's motel but they keep it clean and repainted. Old box tv with few channels. AC worked good. Wifi was a little spotty. Quiet at night despite a tavern across the street, but gets a little noisy with traffic in the morning. Dunkin Donuts up the road, White Castle almost next door. BE WARNED: if approaching the motel from the south, you will need to make a u-turn on a very busy street to backpedal and get in the parking lot. Be prepared to drive fast and get honked at.

Reasonably priced motel near Andersonville
It was clean and comfortable. Very Spartan- no coffee maker. Clerks were pleasant and efficient. As an older woman traveling alone, I felt strangely uncomfortable or afraid. The bed was comfortable but noisy neighborhood and I didn’t sleep well. Maybe be better for younger travelers.

This place does the job
Perfect for me since I’m only there to sleep. Clean place inside and out. Free parking. Short walk to lots of restaurants and bars in Andersonville. Starbucks next door. Safe neighborhood. I will always stay there while visiting Chicago .

Great place for a get-away, or on travel
This is an older property, in an area of mid 1920s buildings, some commerical and some residential near a busy main street. The maintenance us excellent, and the room was spotless, and quiet. It all suited my desire for a one-day "staycation" in the city to relax, and unplug. Die to COVID no continental breakfast, but there is a Starbucks nearby, less than a 5 minute walk.
