room for improvement
the room was lovely and clean but way too warm (in Jan)- opened the windown to cool it but then there was a lot of road noise. Overall very clean. Pillows were terrible and had to ask for an extra one as only 3 supplied in the room.
The bathroom design is poor - solid shower screen over a very high bath that can not be moved to reach the taps to turn on/off. I cant imagine that the cleaners have any other way of cleaning other than climbing into the bath itself which is an accident waiting to happen. The is a sensor light by the kettle which we could not switch off, so every time one of us went to the loo during the night it lit up the whole room which affected sleep quality.

Manager accused my wife of lying
The Hotel was ok but management need retraining in customer service .We were told on arrival that there would be a little noise from workmen till about 17.00 and it would stop and there would be no continuation Sunday morning so we agreed that would be ok. Next morning 08.00 there was banging and sawing of wood very noisy my wife phoned to speak to manager and he said there was no work being carried out and would investigate phoned a few minutes later agreeing there was workmen in room above but they were not working? And told my wife to video proof (Basically calling her a liar ) My wife recorded them working and then we went an seen the manager who agreed that it was noisy and then proceeded to brush it off saying the contractors don,t work for hotel ,Hence bad review
