There is definitely room for improvement at this facility. I'll start with the negatives, however we are not sure how the other cabanas at the property were like.
- The Wi-Fi reception is in general quite bad on the island, a few restaurants and the city square have decent speed and quality, however at the cabanas it was pretty much non-existent. It worked for one day, was really slow and then didn't work for the remaining 5 days even though they topped up the account.
- It felt a bit dirty on the floors, but since it's quite rural it's a lot of red sand surrounding the area, and with the wind it might get easily dragged in. The small fridge was unfortunately bug infested with small flies and the problem didn't go away even though the staff and ourselves tried cleaning it. I hope you don't mind small lizards, since there were loads of them every day and night climbing on the walls by the roof. They also make this ticking noise quite frequently which can be a bit annoying to those who notices it. The area, like everywhere else in South America, has a large dog population, and these will bark all night long, along with the roosters joining in around 4 to 8 am. If you're a light sleeper then this might be an issue for you.
+ The staff was very friendly, helpful and accomodating (especially the old lady and her daughter).
+ They offer airport transport and car rental which were at reasonable prices.
+ They also had a fully equipped kitchen.
