Convenient to town
My husband and I wanted one of the cabins. We knew we had to bring our own sheets, pillows, blankets, etc. There is only a bed, tv and dresser in the cabin. The bathroom is a very short walk outside but this info is mentioned on their website. It would be nice if there was at least a small mirror in the cabin. This campground is very close to downtown. It took me about 15 min to walk but, there is a trolley goes around town and that stops at the campground. It costs $1 per person to ride. Very convenient. Parking in town is not always easy.

Great location with nice scenery. Slightly out of sight from the busy town with privacy but easy access to town especially with the trolley system. Nice pool and cabins. Really enjoyed our stay.

Good: The campground is maintained well. The cabins are clean. The outdoor pool is nice.
Not so good: The cabin we stayed in at the end was in good shape and clean, but was next to a junky area with piles of gravel and industrial equipment. The cabins at the other end had nicer surroundings, but not by much. The free breakfast was not so great, even by free breakfast standards.

They said primitive cabins
No linens. It said in the fine print. Walked in, black stuff on the mattresses. Walked out. Tried to get money back and didn’t. Told management to use my money to get linens.

Cabin Stay at WGC
We stayed one night in one of the three cabins on site and enjoyed our stay. The bed was nice and firm and everything went well. There was still some trash in the trash can and a note from a previous occupant but nothing that bothered us. I used the showers and enjoyed that as well as the little bathroom near our cabin and the location to everything around us. Would recommend a stay there for sure!

Cabin stay at Whistler Gulch Campground
It was hot, 101F so the a/c unit in the cabin was very taxed, but it did cool down by 7:30. The pool looked very inviting, but no body was in it. The shower stalls could use an upgrade this winter. Check-in was very quick and the front desk clerk very friendly. The cabin was large and even had a TV.

Cabin in the valley
We had a one room cabin with 1 queen and bunk beds! Which was awesome except we didn't bring proper linens because we thought we would have 2 queens but it worked out. It was spotless except for under the beds was very dirty. It was a nice walk to the showers and the cabins had a bathroom with toilet and sink that were very nice. We were unfortunately in the middle of a fire ban so could not use the fire pit and it would've taken to much charcoal to actually cook a decent meal so we went out to eat which was fine because we got to try new restaurants. We would definitely stay here again! It's very close to everything! The staff are super friendly!!
