The Ellen Kensington is the perfect hotel for a London tourist. First of all, the location to a great tube station, makes commuting all over town a piece of cake. The neighborhood is also filled with fun pubs, restaurants for every taste, grocery stores, and more. We originally planned to stay five nights, but extended our stay for all nine nights in the London area. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The room fridge was helpful too. The dining room is lovely and the breakfast is amazing - a full buffet offering a wide selection of food, from traditional English breakfast to more American and continental choices. The entire staff was very welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London!

The Ellen is located on a quiet block adjacent to a (private) park so there is plenty of greenery to the area. The room is smallish but it is a boutique hotel. Bed and linens were comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Appreciate having a bar and restaurant in the hotel and being able to get a hot coffee in the morning. The location is central to local shops and restaurants and Tube station (3 minute walk). I would definitely stay here again.
