At first it was a bit difficult for us to find the door to the hotel in spite of the guidelines on mail. Maybe because we expected a bigger entrance, but the small door was around the corner down the narrow alley on the left side of the building. But as we entered the door we found ourselves in an absolutely outstanding, beautiful Venezian Pallazo! Marco and Enriqa, who own the pallazo, were so kind and helpful and the building from 1484 had recently been totally renovated with respect for the history. Marco helped us with where to go for cafes and restaurants and organized a very interesting trip by boat to Morano island, where we saw the workshops and a wonderful glass exhibition. All in all a wonderful and memorable stay.

This was an amazing experience! Our suites were beautifully appointed, well cleaned, and looked over Campo Santa Maria. The location was perfect for walking around Venice and we were able to walk to most points within a few minutes. The building has kept most of its historic charm and provides a stay that transports you to a life in history. The owners were WONDERFUL! They were incredibly helpful with recommendations, assistance booking local transportation, and made delicious cappuccinos at breakfast. We would stay here again without a second thought.
