The Sandman Hotel is an an excellent position for exploring Vancouver-close to the metro lines and the harbour and shopping areas easily walkable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were a decent size, good WiFi and well maintained. Plenty of good restaurants close by or within a short walk. Moxies was great for breakfast. Overall a great hotel for a stay in Vancouver.

We liked the place overall. The dual headed shower was pretty cool. One issue was the loud music coming from outside that played until 1 am. I'm not sure where it was coming from, but it prevented us from sleeping. The location was good, and an easy walk to the Gastown neighborhood.
