Boutique hotel
We stayed for one night. Hotel is in a lovely, mature, and safe neighborhood. It was very clean and all staff went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. Has a nice "boutique" feel

The hotel a cute boutique building turned I hotel, the rooms were nice and modern but the walls thin as can be. We could ever every single sound from the room adjacent and above . No having a dedicated parking lot was also an issue for us who drove in .

Clean but basic, not very comfortable
The hotel advertises itself as a boutique hotel with cozy comfort but both are misleading. The hotel is basic, the room(s) austere, and the pillows/bed very uncomfortable.
Pros:
Clean room
Friendly staff
Free coffee
Nice lounge with interesting art
Affordable relative to other hotels
Cons:
Hard-as-rocks pillows - makes it hard to sleep
Temp indicator on the air con/heating unit is so bright it's like having a night light shining in your eyes. Bring a sleep mask.
The TV does not play regular TV so if you don't subscribe to streaming services you're stuck watching stupid shows on Roku channel
The room was clean but the window (with no view) was filthy dirty.
Austere room, no warmth.
The web site has exaggerated the benefits of the hotel.

This place is rather clean and comfortable and good for a short weekend stay as the rooms are rather small, so might not be ideal for a longer visit. The area around the hotel isn’t the best. It’s sandwiched in between Sherbourne and George. Anyone familiar with Toronto will know it’s not really the best area. That being said, the building itself felt rather safe and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

LOUD SQUEAKY BED from day one. Im solo guest. This is the first time in my life to get a bed like this. So mad!
Im sure Im not the only one who complain this, its impossible that the previous check in guest did not notice the super loud squeaky bed, how come the management did not fix the problem. The front desk told me that wait till 11 am to be transferred in anther room. Well, I told him Im not there to stay in hotel to wait. I am fully book. So just to warn everyone, please check the bed!

Off center location. Can walk to everything. Surrounding area has homeless and a feeling of unsafe characters. Hotel hs no elevator and we had to carry our luggage up a full flight of stairs. The staff did not offer to help or assist. The room was clean and bathroom modern. However very small and simplistic.
