5 night stay
The room was very small, ok for 1 person. No fridge, microwave. No coffee in the mornings. A lovely teapot and tea, which helped. The staff was very nice, helpful. The location is good. Overpriced but comfortable.

Disappointing because the potential is there
The bed is very comfortable but there were 2-3 bugs in the shower. The shower all the water runs out on the floor and the outside windows were not clean for a while. It felt that the room was not taken care of for a while. Also the room is noisy not from the street but from the hallway.

Nice Hotel
This hotel has interesting history, and is within walking distance to Little Portugal, Little Italy, China Town and Little Tibet. Five minutes away, there is an amazing Portugal style bakery where I had the best fruit pastry I have ever had so far (I miss it). The hotel has four floors, each floor has a central sitting rooms for different activities. Their "ancient" elevator is a show, beautiful. The hotel gives a bottle of wine to the guest, but our health do not permit us to drink, so we returned it to the hotel. One thing that bothered me is, their toilet seat is too tall to be comfortable.

Great corner room
My husband and I book a corner room. The room was bright and spacious. Blackout curtains were remote control and perfect to let in as much as as little light we wanted. A bottle of wine with a handwritten note was waiting for us in our room. This boutique hotel is such a breath of fresh air compared to corporate hotels. So unique and friendly. We had a pool table on our floor. The shower and tub were a very good size. Would definitely stay there again and again.

Lovely idiosyncratic old hotel, cool room with original indigenous art and very sleepable bed. Shout out bistro which does a very great breakfast

2/10 Poor

On the surface the hotel looks as it’s presenting itself, a three star boutique hotel. We had a large corner room with space and light, very clean, good bedding. It was Saturday night. The problem is that it’s an old building with zero sound proofing. There was wedding and as the guest went to their rooms between 1am and 3 am we heard every door in the hotel slam. The rest of the night we couldn’t sleep either as the old single pane windows let the noise from the street, tram and freight train in. In the morning the bathroom was unusable as the bath from the unit above leaked through our ceiling dripping cold dirty water on us at high rate. Tried the coffee for breakfast but were again disappointed. We won’t be back. Toronto has many better options.

6/10 Good

The location was convenient, but the hotel puts more effort into fashion than function. Little things like in-room coffee and blinds that actually darken the room would have greatly improved my experience, which are staples at other, much cheaper hotels I've stayed at. There was a communal coffee machine on another floor, but it wasn't working. The frameless bathroom door also makes a loud bang everytime you close it.
